1. Application and approval
Anyone with an ExamSim account may apply. Participation, rates, discounts, trial periods, territories, and referral codes require written or dashboard approval by ExamSim. Approval is not guaranteed and does not require a paid subscription.
2. Tracking and attribution
Eligible referrals must use the approved link or code. The standard referral cookie lasts up to 30 days, but attribution can be lost when cookies are blocked, links are changed, another code is used, or technical limitations apply. ExamSim records are controlling for commission calculations.
3. Commission and payout
The dashboard shows the approved commission rate. Commission applies only to eligible amounts actually received by ExamSim, excluding taxes, fees, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, credits, and self-referrals. A holding period of at least 30 days may apply. Payouts are normally initiated through Stripe Connect after the payable balance reaches ¥10,000, subject to identity, tax, and account verification.
4. Required advertising disclosure
Every promotional post, video, review, message, or page must make the commercial or affiliate relationship immediately clear to its audience, using an appropriate disclosure such as “Advertising”, “PR”, “Affiliate link”, “広告”, or “PR” according to local law and platform rules. The disclosure must be easy to notice before or together with the recommendation.
5. Permitted promotion
Partners may use their own genuine experience, approved ExamSim materials, and accurate descriptions of current features and prices. Partners are responsible for keeping statements current and for complying with advertising, privacy, email, platform, tax, and consumer-protection rules in every place they promote.
6. Prohibited conduct
- False or unsubstantiated claims about JLPT results, visas, employment, salaries, official endorsement, or guaranteed outcomes
- Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, misleading redirects, cookie stuffing, fake accounts, incentives hidden from ExamSim, or self-referrals
- Using “ExamSim”, misspellings, or related brand terms in paid-search bidding without written permission
- Impersonation, domain or social-handle registration that creates confusion, trademark misuse, or alteration of approved creative to become misleading
- Promotion on unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, fraudulent, or otherwise harmful content
7. Refunds, reversals, and fraud
Commissions tied to refunded, disputed, fraudulent, cancelled, or otherwise ineligible transactions may be withheld, reversed, or deducted from future payouts. ExamSim may request reasonable evidence about a referral source before payout.
8. Suspension and termination
Either party may end participation. ExamSim may suspend links, codes, or payouts while investigating suspected violations and may terminate participation for breach, fraud, legal risk, or harm to users or the brand. Valid payable commissions accrued before termination remain subject to these Terms.
9. Independent relationship and taxes
Partners are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of ExamSim. Partners cannot bind ExamSim and are responsible for their own taxes, registrations, disclosures, and expenses.
10. Changes and contact
ExamSim may update these Terms prospectively by changing the date above and giving reasonable notice through the dashboard or account contact. Material rate changes do not retroactively reduce already payable commissions. Questions can be sent through the public contact form.
